GOTS
Global Standards mission is the development, implementation, verification, protection and promotion of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). This standard stipulates requirements throughout the supply chain for both ecological and labour conditions in textile and apparel manufacturing using organically produced raw materials. Organic production is based on a system of farming that maintains and replenishes soil fertility without the use of toxic, persistent pesticides or synthetic fertilisers. In addition, it includes welfare standards for animal husbandry and prohibits genetically modified organisms.

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) set the criteria for third-party certification of recycled materials and chain of custody. It includes 50% minimum recycled content percentage and also social and environmental requirements related to processing and chemical use. GRS aligns definitions of “recycled” across different applications. It allows you to verify recycled content in productsand gives brands and consumers an additional mean to make informed buying decisions. GRS reduces the harmful impact of production on people and the environment. It provides assurance that products are processed in a more climate-friendly way and encourage higher proportions of recycled content in products.
